【摘要】:ThispartofISO16269describesproceduresforestablishingtoleranceintervalsthatincludeatleastaspecifiedproportionofthepopulationwithaspecifiedconfidencelevel.Bothone-sidedandtwo-sidedstatisticaltoleranceintervalsareprovided,aone-sidedintervalhavingeitheranupperoralowerlimitwhileatwo-sidedintervalhasbothupperandlowerlimits.Twomethodsareprovided,aparametricmethodforthecasewherethecharacteristicbeingstudiedhasanormaldistributionandadistribution-freemethodforthecasewherenothingisknownaboutthedistributionexceptthatitiscontinuous.
