【摘要】:Withthisamendment,ISO/IEC19784-1specifiestwoversionsofBioAPI:2.0and2.1.AlltheprovisionsthatapplyonlytooneversionofBioAPI(either2.0or2.1)arelabeledassuch.ThemaindifferenceofBioAPI2.1fromBioAPI2.0isthesupportitprovidesforBioGUI.BioGUIstandsfor"BioAPIGraphicalUserInterface".Thefunctionalityspecifiedinthisamendmentenablesanapplicationtocontrolthedisplayofgraphicsatenrollment,verificationandidentificationasanalternativetousingthegraphicaluserinterfaceprovidedbyBSPs.Secondly,BioAPI2.1alsoalignsthevaluesofthetypedefinitionBioAPI_BIR_BIOMETRIC_TYPEwiththosespecifiedinISO/IEC19785-1:2006.Thirdly,itprovidesadditionalfunctionsandparametersthatareredundantinapurelylocalimplementationofBIoAPI,butwhichenableotherstandards(interworkingstandards-see4.29)tomodifythebehaviourofaBioAPIframeworktosupportinteractionsbetweenanapplicationandremoteBSPs.Finally,itprovidesimprovementstosomeofthefunctionsandparametersdefinedforBioAPI2.0,particularlyinrelationtosupportfortenprintcapture,theelectroniccaptureoftenhumanfingerprints.Thisamendmentredefines(inthespecificatonofBioAPI2.1)portionsoftheBioAPI2.0specificationthatdefineBioAPItypes,macros,functionsandcallbackfunctions(particularlythoserelatedtotheapplicationcontrolledGUIfeature)withanewsetofdefinitionsthatprovidemorefunctionality.SomeoftheoldBioAPI2.0definitionsarecompletelyreplacedbynewdefinitions(withthesameorwithdifferentnames),whileothersareextendedbytheadditionofoneormoreparameters.SometypesandfunctionsareentirelynewinBioAPI2.1.Theresultingspecificationisexpectedtobettermeettheneedsofbiometricapplicationsthatwishtohavefullcontroloftheuserinterfaceduringenrollment,verificationandidentification,thatneedtobeabletoworkwithremoteBSPs,orthatneedaddedfunctionalityforinteractionwithlocalBSPs.
