【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforathiefresistantmechanicallyoperatedsingle-pointlockassembly(includinglockingplates,fixingscrews,fittinginstructions,cylindersandprotectivefurniturewhereappropriate)that:a)incorporatesalockconformingtoBSEN12209fieldofdoorapplicationgradesK,L,M,N,R,SorT,i.e.alockthatcanbelockedfrombothsideswithakeytherebyonlyallowingkeyegress;andb)isusedindoors,windowdoorsandentrancedoorsinbuildings.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthiefresistantlockassembliesthatprovidekeylessegress,i.e.lockassembliesthatcanalwaysbeunlockedfromtheinsidewithouttheneedforakey,orlockassembliesthatprovideasecure(noegress)modeinadditiontokeylessegress.NOTE1Thiefresistantlockassembliesthatprovidekeylessegressorassembliesthatprovideasecure(noegress)modeinadditiontokeylessegressarespecifiedinseparatestandards,BS8621andBS10621(respectively),becausetheyaresufficientlydifferentintermsofwhattheyofferformeansofescape(fromfire)andsecurity.NOTE2Itispossiblethatlockassembliesconformingtothisstandardarenotsuitableforuseondoorsconstructedfromcertaintypesofmaterial,e.g.plasticoraluminium.Themarkingonthepackagingofthelockassemblywillprovidethisinformationinaccordancewit.h9.2.
